I graduated from the Royal London Dental Hospital in 2002, and I completed my vocational training in Wales. After a move to the south coast, I worked for South Downs NHS Trust Special Care Dental Service in Brighton. My job was mainly paediatric dentistry, and over the years, as my confidence and skills grew, I became involved in special needs dentistry. To gain more experience in this field, I moved to Woking and worked for Surrey Primary Care Trust Special Care Dental Service. Desiring some adventure, I moved to Australia for a year. I helped set up a clinic in Cherbourg, an Aboriginal community in rural Queensland. After several months in the outback, I moved to Cairns and worked in a general dental practice. After returning to the UK, I moved to Eastbourne and worked for East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust Special Care Dental Service, and I became a Senior Dental Officer in special needs dentistry. I now work in a general dental practice.
